Daimler DS420 Limousine – “Dolly”
Dolly is the oldest of our Daimler DS420s on the fleet, with her bodywork and design by the renowned coach builders Vanden Plas. She is beautifully finished in white, and is perfect for the couple who want a traditional white wedding.
The Daimler DS420s have the largest interior space of all of the wedding cars. Dolly’s upholstery is finished in cream leather with a burgundy piping, complimenting the warm glow of the polished burr walnut fittings. She has space for the largest of wedding gowns, and the wide opening doors make entry and exit easy and graceful.
She is fitted with two pull out occasional seats, enabling her to seat up to six passengers in the rear, with the option of an additional passenger up front with the chauffeur.
With seating for up to seven passengers she is a great choice for bridesmaids or family, or why not collect the groom, best man and the ushers to travel to the ceremony in style.
When the occasional seats are folded away into the floor there is a vast amount of room in the rear of the car to enable two or three passengers to travel in sublime comfort and style, making her the ideal choice for the brides with the largest of wedding gowns.
These classic limousines were built between 1968 – 1992 and many were used by heads of state and royalty. They are the only car ever to be produced purely as a limousine, and their elegant lines, spacious interior and striking fluted chrome grills, make them a perfect choice for your wedding day.
She works well as secondary vehicles with any of our other cars, especially Mabel our 1960 Austin Princess.
